The Wakefield Adult Community Learning Disability Team provides specialist healthcare for adults with learning disabilities in the area.
The team is made up of specialist health professionals, including speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nurses, dietitians, psychologists, psychiatrists, and Intensive support team and a strategic health facilitator.
They work in partnership with individuals, families, and carers to support better health outcomes and reduce health inequalities for people with learning disabilities.
